EZ Title & Registration can issue your Travel ID/DL at our office with no appointment required!
The Arizona Travel ID is the credential that complies with the federal REAL ID Act of 2005. It is available as both a driver license and identification card. There is a gold star embedded in the card to show that the card holder has provided added proof of identification to ensure the license or ID meets strict federal requirements.
Required Documents
- Bring One Document: Proof of Identity (Birth certificate; U.S. Passport; Passport Card)
- If you need a certified copy of an Arizona birth certificate, the Arizona Department of Health Services with expedited processing.
- Social Security Number (No document is needed, though you will need to provide your complete Social Security number.)
- To order a replacement Social Security card visit the Social Security Administration website(link is external) and establish an account.
- Bring Two Documents: Proof of Arizona Residency– two printed documents with your current Arizona residential address (Utility bills; Credit Card / Bank statements; insurance policy)
- Note: If your current legal name is different from the one shown on a document, you must show legal proof of name change, such as a marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order.
Those who don’t have the required residency documents must complete an Arizona Residency Affidavit(link is external) and supply additional proof of residency.

For original driver license in Arizona, you will need:

-Out of state license (if applicable), either current or expired less than 1 year

The identification card is available to all ages (including infants). Persons 65 or older can obtain the card free of charge. In addition, those receiving Federal Supplemental Security Income disability checks may qualify for a free card based on eligibility. (convenience fee still applies)
EZ Title & Registration will take a photo and issue a temporary ID over the counter. All hard copy ID’s are centrally issued and mailed (usually within 7-10 days)

For written and road tests, we ask that you arrive at least 1 hour before closing to give you time to complete the application and the required testing. (5:00 pm on weekdays, 2:00 pm on Saturday)

Your Driver License usually expires on your 65th birthday, after 8 years (for Travel DL) or when your foreign documents expire. EZ Title & Registration can renew your license and get you back on your way!
